Flourishing: The art and science of wellbeing
There is more to well-being than eating the right foods and exercising. To truly flourish requires art, as well as science, and this is where mindset and attitude are crucially important. This presentation will bring you an update on the science of well-being, particularly as we age, as well as highlight the importance of emotional wellness for living a good life.
Deanna Pitchford is a Clinical Psychologist, previously in private practice, and currently teaching students the skills of counselling at Avondale College. She finds people fascinating and is passionate about helping others live a meaningful life. She loves books, dark chocolate, and watering her garden.
